  • 2 cups poha (flattened rice)
  • 2 tablespoons oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon mustard seeds
  • 1/2 teaspoon cumin seeds
  • 1/2 cup chopped onions
  • 1/4 cup chopped green chilies (adjust to your spice preference)
  • 1/4 cup roasted peanuts
  • 1/4 cup green peas (fresh or frozen)
  • 1/4 teaspoon turmeric powder
  • Salt to taste
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh coriander leaves
  • Juice of 1 lemon
  • Fresh grated coconut for garnish (optional)

   Instructions Of Poha Recipe :

  1. Preparation: Start by rinsing the poha in a colander under running water. Gently fluff it with your fingers to make sure it’s moistened evenly. Let it sit in the colander to drain while you prepare the other ingredients.
  2. Heat Oil: In a pan or kadai, heat the oil over medium heat.
  3. Temper the Mustard and Cumin Seeds: Add the mustard seeds and cumin seeds. Let them splutter, which will take about 20-30 seconds.
